Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-26
Welcome to Fluxer Bot List ("FBL", "we", "us", "our"). FBL is a community-driven directory for Fluxer bots, servers, and themes. By accessing or using FBL — including the website, dashboard, public API, or any related service — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use FBL.
These Terms apply to every visitor, registered user, contributor, and listing owner.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use FBL. If your local jurisdiction requires a higher minimum age for online services, that age applies to you instead.
- If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm your parent or guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf.
- You must comply with Fluxer's own Terms of Service at all times. A violation of Fluxer's Terms is also a violation of these Terms.
2. Accounts
- You sign in to FBL with your Fluxer account via OAuth. We do not store your Fluxer password.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your Fluxer credentials safe; revoke FBL's OAuth grant from your Fluxer account settings if you ever lose control.
- You may not impersonate another person, brand, bot, or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the platform, ship abusive content, attempt to bypass security controls, or repeatedly violate these Terms.
3. Content you submit
You retain ownership of everything you submit to FBL — listing descriptions, screenshots, themes, embedded media, blog comments, and so on ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content you grant FBL a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format, distribute, and (for moderation purposes) modify Your Content, solely so that we can operate, improve, and promote FBL.
You represent and warrant that:
- You either own Your Content or have the rights to grant us the licence above.
- Your Content does not infringe any third-party right (copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract).
- Your Content does not violate any law or these Terms.
You may delete Your Content at any time from your dashboard. After deletion, copies may persist briefly in caches and backups, but we will not continue to display deleted content publicly.
4. Listings: bots, servers, themes
Each listing on FBL is reviewed by a human before it appears in public listings. The review process and what we look for is documented in How the Project Review Process Works, and the per-category rules live in:
By submitting a listing, you confirm that:
- You own, operate, or are otherwise authorised to publish the project.
- The listing accurately describes the project and is kept up to date.
- The project follows the relevant guideline document above and Fluxer's Developer Terms.
We may deny, edit, un-feature, ban, or delete any listing at our sole discretion if it violates these Terms, the guideline documents, or Fluxer's Terms — or if we believe the listing harms users.
5. Voting & rewards
Votes are an expression of support for a listing. Vote integrity matters; the following are prohibited:
- Self-voting beyond the legitimate per-account cooldown.
- Vote farming, alt-account voting, or paid vote rings.
- Reward gating that requires a user to vote for your bot before they can use a feature on a different bot or server.
- Automated, scripted, or bot-driven voting from accounts you control.
We may invalidate suspect votes, freeze monthly counts, or remove a listing's eligibility for leaderboards and featured slots when abuse is detected. Repeat offenders lose the ability to host listings on FBL.
6. Acceptable use
When using FBL, you agree not to:
- Disrupt or interfere with FBL's servers, networks, or APIs (including denial-of-service, scraping at unreasonable rates, or bypassing rate limits).
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source from FBL beyond what is permitted by law.
- Upload malware, phishing payloads, or content designed to harm other users or their machines.
- Harass, threaten, or dox other users, staff, or reviewers.
- Use FBL to advertise scams, illegal services, or content that sexualises minors.
- Misrepresent FBL or its staff (including pretending an unofficial channel is an official one).
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate suspension or termination, with or without notice.
7. Public API
FBL exposes a public read API at /api/v1. You may use it to power your own dashboards, leaderboards, and integrations under these conditions:
- Identify your client with a sensible
User-Agent. - Respect the documented per-IP rate limits. Persistent abuse will be blocked.
- Cache responses where appropriate; do not poll faster than the data could plausibly change.
- Do not use the API to scrape personal data, build a competing directory, or circumvent listing visibility (e.g. surfacing banned listings).
We may change, throttle, or revoke API access at any time, especially for clients that destabilise the platform.
8. Webhooks
Bots and servers may opt in to receive vote and lifecycle webhooks from FBL. By configuring a webhook URL, you authorise FBL to POST signed JSON payloads to that URL. You are responsible for verifying the HMAC signature on incoming requests; we will never email you or DM you to "confirm" your webhook secret.
9. Premium / paid features
If FBL offers paid features (boosted placement, additional analytics, etc), the specific terms — pricing, billing cycle, refund policy, downgrade behaviour — are presented at the point of purchase and incorporated into these Terms by reference. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting support may result in account suspension.
10. Intellectual property
The FBL name, logo, dashboard UI, documentation, and code are © Fluxer Bot List. You may not use FBL's branding to imply endorsement or affiliation without our written permission. Fan-content, "powered by FBL" badges, and accurate references to your listing's stats are fine.
Third-party trademarks (Fluxer, etc) belong to their respective owners and are used for descriptive purposes only.
11. Termination
You may stop using FBL at any time and delete your data from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access to FBL at our discretion if you violate these Terms or the linked guidelines, or if continuing to host your account or listings would expose other users or FBL to harm.
Termination does not refund any paid features unless required by applicable consumer-protection law.
12. Disclaimers
FBL is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties — express or implied — about availability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of listings, or that FBL will be uninterrupted or error-free. Listings, statistics, and reviews are user-generated; we do not endorse any specific listing.
You assume all risk associated with installing third-party bots, joining third-party servers, or applying third-party themes discovered via FBL.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FBL and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of FBL — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FBL and its operators from any claim, damages, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of FBL, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- For material changes, post an announcement on the FBL blog.
Continued use of FBL after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using FBL and delete your account.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where FBL is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Where local consumer-protection law grants you stronger rights, those rights are preserved.
