Announcement Guidelines
Announcements let bot and server owners share news with their users. Please follow these guidelines so announcements stay useful for everyone. They apply on top of our Terms of Service.
What announcements are for
- Updates about your bot or server: new features, releases, changes, fixes and maintenance.
- Events your community runs, like tournaments, giveaways and launches.
- Important news your users should know about.
Keep it relevant and honest
- Posts must be about the bot or server they're published on.
- Don't mislead people with fake features, fake giveaways or clickbait titles.
- Giveaways and events must be real, and you're responsible for running them and handing out prizes.
- Don't impersonate Fluxer, Fluxer Bot List or other projects.
Not allowed
- Advertising other bots, servers or products, or posts that exist only to promote something unrelated.
- Asking for, rewarding or trading votes ("vote for a reward" is fine only if the reward is in your own bot or server and voting isn't required to join the event).
- NSFW, hateful, harassing, violent or illegal content, and links to it.
- Scams, phishing, malware, token grabbers or links that hide where they go.
- Spam: repeated posts, walls of mentions or emoji, or near-identical announcements.
- Personal information about anyone without their consent.
Limits
- You can publish up to 5 announcements per bot or server per day.
- One announcement can be pinned to the top of your page at a time.
- Images must follow the same rules as your post, and be under 5MB.
Enforcement
- Staff can edit or remove announcements that break these guidelines.
- Repeated or serious violations can lead to the listing being removed, as described in our Terms of Service.
